VICKI GORDON

Vicki Gordon is one of the most highly respected music industry consultants and managers in Australia. She has dedicated her career to the development of Independent artists for the local and International market. She also works closely with emerging Indigenous artists trying to break into the mainstream. She is an active presenter and speaker at music industry festivals and in 2001 was the first Woman on the Board of Aria, in 50 years, to represent the Independents.

With 25 years experience in Media & Marketing, Artist Development & Management, Radio & Television servicing and Record Label Management Vicki is highly skilled across all of the various components required to develop an artist’s career for local and International success.

Vicki has been integral to the success of Australian artists such as Vanessa Amorosi, Emma Donovan, Sick Puppies, Katie Underwood and Brenda Webb amongst others and has worked in a PR capacity with Jimmy Barnes, Gina Jeffries and Marcia Hines. She is renowned for her unique, direct approach to Marketing and Management and is highly sought after in this regard.

VGM also consults to Commercial Radio Australia on the NA2R (New Artists to Radio) competition and to various organizations in relation to the development of National and State Music programs.

Current clients include: Ursula Yovich, Shellie Morris, Georgia Germein, Finabah and Commercial Radio Australia.
